WELCOME TO NAIROBI!

- Meet your J² safari guide and head out for a full day of amazing experiences.
- Get up-close with endangered Rothschild giraffes at the Giraffe Centre.
- Visit the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and meet rescued baby elephants.
- Enjoy a picnic lunch at the Karen Blixen Museum followed by a tour of her former home.
- Visit a local social enterprise—such as Kazuri Beads or Kitengela Glass—for an inspiring glimpse into Kenyan artistry and community empowerment.

INTO THE HEART OF THE MAASAI MARA
- Breakfast at the hotel, followed by checkout.
- Transfer from the hotel to Nairobi Wilson Airport.
- Check in for your short flight to the Maasai Mara national park.
- Welcome to the Maasai Mara and meet your new guide.
- Set off on an exhilarating game drive towards your lodge, where you may encounter herds of elephants, graceful giraffes, and the iconic big cats, all roaming freely across the stunning savannah.
- Check into the lodge and unwind.
- Enjoy a leisurely and delicious lunch at the lodge.
- Time to relax and settle in.
- Embark on an extraordinary afternoon game drive in the Maasai Mara Reserve.

UNTAMED BEAUTY OF THE MAASAI MARA
- Begin your day with coffee or tea as the sun rises over the Mara.
- Soar over the Mara in a hot air balloon ride, taking in breathtaking views of the endless plains, followed by a outdoor breakfast in the heart of the bush.
- Embark on a game drive through diverse areas of the reserve, tracking the Big Five with your guide. Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch beneath an acacia tree, immersed in the sounds of the wild.
- Head to a local Maasai village for an in-depth cultural experience, offering a unique window into local traditions and daily life. Enjoy interactive activities, engaging stories, and a taste of authentic hospitality.
- Return to the lodge with time to freshen up and enjoy a final dinner in Africa as the sun sets.

CARRYING AFRICA HOME
- Enjoy a final breakfast at the hotel, savoring the last moments of your Africa experience.
- Check out of the lodge and transfer to the airstrip for your short flight back to Nairobi.
- Upon arriving at Nairobi Wilson airport, meet your driver who will take you to Nairobi International Airport for return flight to the US.

- Credit card fees, if applicable, for balance payments made by credit card.

- Amendments or extra services added while in Africa, which may incur additional fees.
- Personal extras: laundry, alcoholic beverages, coffee/tea, food outside of provided meals, passport and visa fees, insurance, and foreign port taxes, unless otherwise specified. Hotels may provide complimentary beverages or laundry, but this is not guaranteed.
- US and foreign airport taxes, fuel surcharges, and border taxes, when applicable.
- Validity: All prices are based on exchange rates at the time of the proposal and may change without notice. Rates are per person, based on double occupancy, unless otherwise stated.
- How to Make a Booking: The fastest way to book is online using the JOIN link for your chosen safari trip. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express. A non-refundable deposit of $2,000 per person is required to complete the registration.
- Booking Assistance: For help with registration or trip-related queries, email [email protected], and we will respond within 2 business days.
- Payments: The balance is due 120 days before departure or as specified on your invoice. We will send a reminder two weeks prior. Payment options include: Credit card: We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express. A 4% fee will be added for credit card payments. Domestic bank wire transfer: Payment should be in US dollars. Please include your invoice number as a reference. Send a copy of the transfer receipt to [email protected]. Failure to pay by the due date may result in automatic booking cancellation.
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be in writing. The deposit is non-refundable. Cancellations due to failure to pay will not result in a deposit refund. If J² cancels the trip for operational or security reasons, you may receive a full refund, transfer funds to a new booking, or hold funds for a future trip.
- Cancellation fees: 120+ days before departure: loss of deposit. 119–76 days before departure: loss of 50% of full cost. 75 days or less before departure: loss of 100% of trip cost. We recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover cancellations due to medical or other reasons.
- Cancellation fees may also include supplier fees. J² safaris reserves the right to adjust payment and cancellation terms. We can provide documentation for insurance claims.
- Be cautious of online fraud. J² safaris will never request fund transfers to new accounts or issue additional payment requests without direct personal contact.
