DAY 1
DEPART HOME

DAY 2
TOUCHDOWN IN TANZANIA
- Touch down in (JRO) Kilimanjaro airport.
- Your J² safari begins with a warm welcome in Tanzania.
- VIP arrival assistance.
- Meet your J² guide at the airport and prepare to set off on your safari adventure.
- Begin your safari adventure with a scenic drive through Lake Manyara National Park, known for its lush groundwater forests, tree-climbing lions, and remarkable birdlife. Take in sweeping views of the Great Rift Valley escarpment and the shimmering alkaline lake, often painted pink with flamingos.
- Lunch en route.
- Continue on to the Ngorongoro area.
- Arrive at your lodge and check in.
- Time to relax or take a dip in the lodge's pool.
- Enjoy a Maasai cultural experience and cocktails by the pool.
- Settle into your first evening in the bush with a beautifully prepared dinner at the lodge.

JOURNEY TO THE SERENGETI
- Breakfast at the lodge.
- Pack up and check out.
- Savor a scenic drive toward the legendary Serengeti National Park, with wildlife sightings along the way.
- Pause for a peaceful picnic lunch en route.
- Arrive at the lodge and check in, welcomed by sweeping views and the majestic landscape.
- Enjoy the afternoon at leisure, whether by the pool or taking in the views.
- Enjoy cocktails and refreshments as the sun sets.
- Unwind over dinner at the lodge, as the stars begin to appear.

DAY 5
CHASING THE WILD: A DAY IN THE SERENGETI
- Set out at first light for an unforgettable hot air balloon ride over the vast savannah to observe the wildlife from a new perspective. Followed by a delicious breakfast in the bush.
- Continue driving through the vast Serengeti, with snacks and refreshments as you encounter its iconic wildlife.
- Arrive back at the lodge in time for a late lunch.
- Relax at the pool, soaking in the tranquility of the Serengeti, or enjoy a spa treatment (not included).
- Embark on an exciting afternoon game drive through the Serengeti, where you may encounter elusive predators or their vast prey.
- Return to the lodge for a peaceful evening and indulge in a delicious dinner under the stars.

DAY 6
EXPLORING THE BORDER LANDS
- Breakfast at the lodge, followed by checkout.
- Head north towards the border between Tanzania and Kenya, where the Serengeti meets the Maasai Mara, ascending to higher ground and following the route of the Great Migration.
- Travel through migration country, where wildebeest and zebra may be seen moving across the plains.
- Arrive at the lodge and check in.
- Lunch at the lodge followed by time to relax, swim or indulge in a spa treatment (not included).
- Afternoon game drive to observe more of the final stages of the annual migration.
- Return to the lodge.
- Dinner served at the lodge.

DAY 7
IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF THE MIGRATION
- Wake up to early morning tea and coffee, followed by a morning game drive in the northern Serengeti observing elephants, lions, giraffes, and perhaps even a cheetah in action.
- Return to the lodge for a delicious breakfast, savoring the flavors as you reflect on your morning safari.
- Relax, rest or swim at the lodge during the hottest part of the day.
- Embark on a final afternoon game drive in the area, specifically viewing the Mara river and how it stands as one of the greatest barriers to the animals crossing into Kenya or back into Tanzania.
- Return to the lodge.
- End your day with a sumptuous dinner at the lodge, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the Serenegti.

DAY 8
WILDLANDS TO URBAN LIGHTS
- Enjoy a late breakfast at the lodge before checkout.
- Transfer to the nearby Kogatende airstrip.

- Amendments or extra services added while in Africa, which may incur additional fees.
- Personal extras: laundry, alcoholic beverages, coffee/tea, food outside of provided meals, passport and visa fees, insurance, and foreign port taxes, unless otherwise specified. Hotels may provide complimentary beverages or laundry, but this is not guaranteed.
- US and foreign airport taxes, fuel surcharges, and border taxes, when applicable.
- Validity: All prices are based on exchange rates at the time of the proposal and may change without notice. Rates are per person, based on double occupancy, unless otherwise stated.
- To Make a Booking: The fastest way to book is online using the JOIN link for your chosen safari trip. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express. A non-refundable deposit of $5,000 per person is required to complete the registration.
- For any assistance with this registration process or other trip-related queries, please email [email protected] and we will reply to you within 2 business days.
- Payments | The balance of your payment is due 120 days before your journey begins, or as specified in your invoice. You will receive an email reminder approximately 2 weeks before the due date. Various payment options are available as follows: o Credit card | We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Please check with your credit card provider regarding international processing fees. We are unable to process payments of over $1,000 over the phone. Please submit payment online via a credit card. Please note that we will add a credit card fee of 4% before processing your payment of a trip balance. To avoid this additional fee, please pay your balance by wire transfer. o Domestic bank wire transfer | Payment should be wired in US dollars only. Please add your invoice number as a reference and forward a copy of the transfer receipt by email to [email protected]. The bank transfer should clearly state the beneficiary’s name on the wire transfer. You will find our bank details on the invoice. If J² does not receive payment of your balance by the due date, we reserve the right to automatically cancel your booking.
- Cancelation Policy | All cancelations must be submitted in writing. The cancelation fee depends on the date when we receive written notification of your request to cancel your booking. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable. If we cancel your booking due to failure to pay your outstanding balance no refund of the deposit will be made. Should J² be required to cancel your booking or the entire trip for operational, security or other reasons, you will be entitled to receive a full refund, or transfer the monies paid to a new booking, or have us hold the monies for a future trip.
- Cancelation fees | Cancelations made 120 or more days prior to departure incur the loss of the deposit. Cancelations made 119 to 76 days prior to departure incur the loss of 50% of the full trip cost. Cancelations made 75 days or less prior to the departure incur the loss of 100% of the full trip cost. We strongly recommend that you separately purchase travel insurance which may cover you in the case of cancellation due to medical or similar reasons.
- J² Safaris reserves the right to adjust its terms of payment, including cancelation policies and initial deposits.
- J² will be happy to provide all relevant documentation that may be required for you to make a claim against your travel insurance.
- Be cautious of online fraud. J² safaris will never request fund transfers to new accounts or issue additional payment requests without direct personal contact.
